BASS Masters 2000 from THQ is based on the TV series The BASSMASTERS. The game is endorsed by B.A.S.S. (Bass Anglers Sportsman Society). Real anglers, notably Roland Martin and Shaw Grigsby, Jr., are included, as are real B.A.S.S. tournaments and actual lakes.
BASS Masters 2000 tries to appease die-hard and casual fishing fans alike. Four games modes are available: Exhibition, Tournament, Speed Fishing, and Casting Game. Two-player, split-screen fishing action is available in every mode except Tournament.
