It is a time of war and great darkness. The Sultan has gone off to lead his troops in a foreign war. Meanwhile the Grand Vizier Jaffar has taken control of Persia in the Sultan's absence. Throughout the land, the people hide in terror and ache for better days. Days when the wise and good Sultan ruled. Then a young prince arrives from a far away land. He has no knowledge of the evil that is taking place. All he knows is that he has won the heart of the Princess, unwittingly making a enemy of the power mad Jaffar.
